Babies quickly outgrow their favourite things, but a sleeping bag that is no longer needed could still bring comfort to another family.

Through our Bags of Love programme, you can donate a clean, good-quality baby sleeping bag from any brand. We’ll pass it on to Stripey Stork, a local baby bank supporting families experiencing hardship across Surrey and Croydon.

As a thank-you, we’ll email you a 25% discount code for a Merino Kids merino sleeping bag.

Who are Stripey Stork? Stripey Stork support children and parents experiencing hardship by working in partnership with social services such as children’s centres, health visitors and women’s shelters. All donations go directly to the families they support, and each item to someone who needs it. They accept donations of new and pre-loved toys, clothes and equipment for babies and children, and after making sure they’re safe and clean, they re-home them to local families in need. Stripey Stork prides itself on passing on items in great condition.

How to Donate

1. Prepare Your Sleeping Bag

Please make sure your sleeping bag is:

• Freshly washed and completely dry
• In good, reusable condition
• Free from stains, odours, holes and damaged seams
• Complete with working zips and fastenings

2. Include Your Details

Place a note inside your parcel with:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• The reference “Bags of Love”

3. Send Your Donation

Post your sleeping bag to:

Once we receive your donation, we’ll arrange for it to be passed to Stripey Stork and email your discount code.
